What color pencils and paper do you use? I'm a beginner and will be practicing with Strathmore 300 series (gotta love that sexy yellow cover 
) drawing paper and 400 series drawing paper soon cause it's a little heavier, like 80lbs. And I've got 300 series watercolor paper cause of the texture. I think it'll look good with color pencil. As for color pencil I'm starting off with I have, student grade like Artist Loft and Staedtlar Norris club. Hell I'll get better tools later .

I just used random pencils I found around my house, many of which had no name or mark on them, some were Staedtler, some were water colour. I also use some pen and highlighting markers, and some charcoal pencils/smudger.
You keep creating. I'll keep watching. ^_^
